ABOUT US

We like tea - we like drinking tea & we like talking about tea. The next logical step was to start selling tea, that way we can drink tea and talk about tea, all day long!!

OUR ENVIRONMENT

The Environment is pretty important...without it, we can't grow tea. If we can't grow tea, we can't drink tea! Therefore, with an aim to minimise our footprint and mitigate our impact on the environment, we are doing our bit.

COMPOSTABLE BAGS

We supply our tea leaves in our tried and tested compostable bags. When you are finished, rather than adding to landfill, simply pop them in you compost bin (or food recycling bin) and give the worms a meal!

LEAVES NOT BAGS

Our tea is supplied as leaves. This means we don't use any additional packaging and resources to make tea bags. Tea bags have 10 times the carbon footprint of loose leaf tea and teabags are only 70% biodegradable.

FEWER CHEMICALS

A tea lover who drinks five cups of tea a day will get through 13sq m of perforated paper each year. Whilst chemicals are used in the bleaching process to make teabags white and plastic is added to make tea bags stronger.
